How we make and check this

The Connection Guide exists to answer the everyday relationship and communication questions people actually ask, in a way that is both accurate and easy to read. Here is exactly how each answer gets made, so you can decide how much to trust it.

We draft with AI, then a real person takes over

Every answer starts as a draft written with the help of AI, working from a strict template and a clear set of rules. That draft is only a starting point. Before anything is published, a named human reviewer with real, relevant expertise reads it, edits it, checks that the guidance is sound, and confirms the sources actually support what we say. If it is not good enough for that reviewer to put their name on, it does not go up.

We think being honest about this is important. AI is a useful drafting tool. It is not a substitute for a knowledgeable human, and we do not pretend otherwise.

You can see who reviewed each answer

At the bottom of every published answer you will find the reviewer's name, their credentials, a link to verify their professional license, and the date they last reviewed it. Their full list of reviewed answers lives on their public profile. No anonymous "our experts." No one name rubber-stamping the entire site. If a reviewer's name is on an answer, they actually reviewed that answer, within their area of expertise.

We cite specific sources

When we point to evidence, we link to the specific page or study that supports the specific claim, not a vague homepage. If a source does not really back up a point, it does not belong there, and our reviewers take it out.

We keep answers current

Each answer carries a "last reviewed" date, and we cycle back to re-check them over time. A date on this site means what it says.

What this is, and what it is not

The Connection Guide is education. It is not therapy, not a diagnosis, and not a substitute for professional care or a crisis service. It is a place to understand what might be going on and find practical, humane starting points. For anything involving immediate danger or crisis, please reach real human help right away — in the U.S., call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or contact the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233. See our Get help page for more.

Who is behind this

The Connection Guide is operated by AttuneAI, which builds real-time relationship support tools. This resource is editorially independent: the answers are written and reviewed to help you, not to sell to you. Where AttuneAI is relevant, we will say so plainly.
